Description
This pork chops supreme recipe is a creamy, comforting oven-baked dish layered with potatoes, onions, and seasoned pork, smothered in mushroom sauce. A perfect weeknight or Sunday dinner favorite.
Ingredients
4 boneless pork chops (¾-inch thick)
3 large Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
1 large yellow onion, sliced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
½ cup milk or almond milk
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh thyme or parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Lightly grease a 9×13″ baking dish.
3. Layer sliced potatoes across the bottom of the dish.
4. Add sliced onions over potatoes, sprinkle with seasoning.
5. Place seasoned pork chops on top.
6. Mix cream of mushroom soup with milk until smooth.
7. Pour sauce over the entire dish.
8. Cover with foil and bake for 50–60 minutes.
9. Uncover and bake an additional 10–15 minutes.
10. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Sear pork chops first for extra flavor.
Add shredded cheese for a cheesy twist.
Swap potatoes for cauliflower for a low-carb version.
For slow cooker: cook on low for 6–7 hours after layering ingredients.
